Giving Opportunities

Recognizing that one size does not fit all, the Catholic Community Foundation of Los Angeles is committed to providing an array of gifting opportunities that meet the philanthropic needs of our customers. If you don’t find what you are looking for in the options on this page, call us and we will work with you to develop a program that meets your expectations and is within the limitations imposed by taxing and other authorities that govern charitable gifts.

In the fund descriptions below, the terms “annual gift” and “endowment gift” are used. An “annual gift” is one that is made to our Foundation to be disbursed to qualifying nonprofit organizations in the year in which it was made. An “endowment gift” is a donation made to our Foundation to be deposited in the permanent funds and to be managed so that only a portion of the gift is spent annually to fund a qualifying nonprofit organization.

Our menu of publications and forms provides our donors with the applications and information needed to set up the fund that best meets their objectives. The forms include applications for establishing new funds such as Donor-Advised Funds and Restricted Funds to what is needed in bequest language and how to make transfers for gifts of stock. If you don’t find what you are looking for on this site, please call us for assistance.
