Composed of lay people, religious, and clergy, the staff advocates for changes in the criminal justice system on county, state, and federal levels and educates the community about the system and its effect on those involved in it. Staff also work together to provide pastoral care, a resettlement program, and healing Masses.
Sir Daniel Donohue Fund
Affectionately known as “Sir Daniel” to his friends and family, Daniel Donohue served as chairman of the Dan Murphy Foundation for more than 40 years. He was a strong proponent of Catholic schools and programs for the poor, was essential to the construction of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, and was a passionate patron of the arts. This fund, in his memory, supports Catholic programs throughout the Archdiocese that are most in need.
